Let's breakdown how to stop "Tight" Formations

• These formations are based around Quick Underneath Routes, Seam Routes, and Attacking with Corner Routes

Cover 4 Set Up

• Shade Coverage Underneath
• Look to Switch Stick any Corner Routes by Switching to our Outside Corners
• Make sure our Safety Depth is "Close" and Width is "Pinch"
• Feel free to only Rush 3 players, to get an extra "Yellow Zone"

Cover 2 Set Up

• Shade Coverage Underneath
• This is designed to totally bag any Short Yardage combos
• Look to Switch Stick to a Deep Safety to take away any Deeper Hitting Routes

Basic Set Up

• Call Cover 3
• Shade Underneath
• Pinch Defensive Line
• User Middle Safety as Shown

If it's a Pass Play, either Play your Deep Area, or Switch Stick instantly Underneath

• These are 3 Concepts you can use from ANY Defense to stop Corners & Crossers

1. Zone Drop Curl Flats (20-25 Yards)
2. Switch Stick to Flat Zone or Deep Zone
3. Man Up User to Route, Switch Stick Off

Follow this video & you will LOCKDOWN 99% of 5 Wide Offenses

• We need some sort of 4 Man Pressure (Example: Texas 4 Man)
• Call Cover 3 or Cover 4, then immediately Shade Underneath
• Look to Cheat with a Flat Zone (ideally on the Trips Side) and put him in a Hook Zone
• Your User MUST take away the Crossing Route from the Trips Side that is attacking the Weak Side!
• User Weak Side Safety if needed against QB Runs
