There's a ceiling on how far you can move the ball with a standard throw. Free-form removes that ceiling.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>When a corner is playing tight man or matching a route. The only way to keep your receiver away from contact is to put the ball somewhere the defender physically cannot get to it. That's what LEFT TRIGGER does. It lets you throw to a spot you couldn't reach before.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>The DB doesn't move differently. The route doesn't change. It has to be held as you throw. Change it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Not pushing the stick far enough.\u003C\u002Fstrong> All the way outside. Not halfway. All the way. And slightly down. Half reps here give you half results.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Trying to learn it mid-game.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Go to practice mode. Cover Zero. Streak or fade. Get 20 reps before you run it in a real game. This isn't hard.
