A 10-yard hard flat doesn't just sit at 10 yards. It plays at \u003Cstrong>10 yards at the deepest OR as low as the lowest route.\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>Flat route to X? Defended.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>Corner route (stem down)? He plays at about 10 yards.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>The invisible wall problem:\u003C\u002Fstrong> right around the end zone line, DBs just struggle to get back further. It's frustrating. That's the reality of the game. Cloud flat does the same thing. Still doesn't back up all the way.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>The fix:\u003C\u002Fstrong> switch stick that area. The back corner of the end zone is your target. Use the \u003Cstrong>Right Stick to switch\u003C\u002Fstrong> to a defender and take away anything thrown back there. That's the weakness. Someone might say \"put your flats at 30.\" But your opponent could go 20-yard corner, 25, or 40. That's a real thing.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>You have to be active.
