Designed in Madden 22, this breakdown is CRITICAL for
learning how to build your own scheme in Madden 23
This is a step by step guide of
exactly how I have built some of the
best offenses from the ground up over
the past 4 Maddens!

- Building your own scheme takes TIME.
- Identify the issues you face in games, and
try to work through them in practice mode!

For a formation to even be considered,
it must pass our eye test.

While this can change year to year,
this is the most basic overview of
blocking requirements while building
a scheme

Every formation has specific routes that
EA gives it. Unfortunately, not all formations
are given the same "good" routes as
others

Watch this, it is important.

Think of PA Boot over: Easy set up,
high success rate, works vs everything.
This is what you need to find.

Inside Zones, Traps, Stretches,
all are great plays to have in your
formation of choice

The most annoying thing that an offense
can do? Snap the ball as fast as possible.
We want the ability to do that.

Realistically, this will be the hardest thing
to find. This changes every patch, every Madden,
heck even when new cards comes out. But I
promise it's worth it.

This one is pretty easy this year, it's nearly
universal across most formations. Motion
slant, halfback option

The META. An ever changing part about Madden,
when you play online, the overwhelming amount
of people you play are going to be running the META,
so with that being said, it's probably a good idea to
learn what you want to do vs it.
